Piatella is the fusion of innovative cold curing with the traditional methods of hash making. It’s full-melt, 6-star hash on a whole different level. You can cut it with a knife, and it has the consistency almost like a soft fudge. It’s firm enough to maintain it’s overall shape even when cut into pieces and won’t liquefy or drip off of the knife.
Any cannabis product that’s left to cure in the open air is prone to rapid oxidation, a natural process that both degrades terpene and cannabinoid content and darkens the resin. While varying degrees of oxidation are inevitable over time, less oxidation is always the goal. This stuff would melt very clean if the staff took some time to change their gloves or operation up as there is quite a bit of what I am hoping is loose leaf/bud (fingers crossed) that has made its way into every one of my orders but really all I can see are pin head dark spots that sometimes get left behind and not like any “Piatella Hash” I’ve had before. Average effects for concentrates with nothing that stands out. Next to no taste or smell since it looks like they just store them in parchment paper in a no name zip loc baggy, and honestly wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between the Super Lemon Haze and Gary Payton I have if I didn’t label the containers. Honestly only like it because of how clean it melts, even with the occasional speck of hopefully flower left in my slurpers or puffcos.

I thought this was going to be terpy, but I just don’t get anything. It does burn clean and it does get me quite buzzed, but I didn’t get any Lemon Haze, nor any flavor to honest. Will have to try again the the future, perhaps another strain.

I don’t get how this is different from budder etc- I understand how the processing is different, but this product is so much like any other extract- and I didn’t find effects to be very noticeable? I tried it in a joint, in an extract pen and in a vape, but I’m just not getting it. Back to regular hash for me 🙂
