Crystal Coma is a cross between Skunk and Cheese and is incredibly potent. Keeping this in mind, it is not for the faint of heart. Upon closer inspection, you will come to realize the buds are tree-shaped, lime green in color and with orange hairs. As for the smell, it is an intense blend of pine and lemon with cheesy undertones. On the other hand, Crystal Coma does taste clean and crisp with hints of spice. I have to say, I was actually very impressed after my first taste of Crystal Coma. The aroma is rich and woodsy, and the flavour is ample and spicy. The high sneaks up on you after two or three puffs. It’s extremely pleasant and goes on for four or five hours. The part I like most is that it doesn’t make you sleepy. I’d highly recommend.

I first discovered this strain on this site about 5 years ago and have bought it many times.
Amazingly, it is exactly as I remember it. I still don’t understand the ‘coma’ part of its name because it definitely is NOT couch inducing.
I’m not great at describing tastes/flavors but I’d say it’s light, smooth, non-gassy. If it were a tea, it would be a Pekoe rather than an English Breakfast though it definitely gets my motor running.
As someone who can smoke pretty much one after another all day while still working on projects I’d say Crystal Coma is a great daytime smoke but might be a little too potent for the first J of the day.
Hats-off to grower who gave us the tight nugs and smooth draw. She’s got to be from clone because of the consistency. That, or really stable genetics. Rock on.

Got this as a free sample and the “gram” weighed only 0.83g (at least I didn’t pay for it). This is the same as the other AAAA strains I’ve tried in that it tastes and smells amazing, very clean, powerful and complex aroma, but the high actually isn’t any stronger or longer lasting than AAA or even some AA strains. Yes I can still tell it’s “higher quality/better” but is it really worth such a huge price jump? I guess I don’t mind having a luxury option but I only ever get 8ths and quarters as a treat to compare with my usual AA and AAA, and I consistently find the price difference to be greater than the quality difference. That being said if you see any AAAA on sale they’re definitely worth grabbing. I find all CS products to be very good quality so they’re basically only competing with themselves, at any price point.
