The Grape L.A. high comes on with a happy, heady effect that starts with a light tingle behind the eyes before spreading throughout the rest of your mind with a light buzzing effect. Soon, you’ll fall into an unfocused state that’s slightly sedative. With these potent effects and its super high 29% average THC level, Grape L.A. is said to be perfect for treating conditions such as insonia, chronic stress or anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and headaches or migraines. This bud has a sweet earthy flavor with hints of rich spicy coffee. The aroma is very much the same, although pretty pungent, too. I’ve bought this twice, first time I was crushed that I had only bought half a Z. The taste was second to none, like mulled grapes, accompanying effects were on point, 5/5. The second time it was unfortunately damaged and crushed during it’s trip to me and the weed wasn’t nearly as good 3/5, but CS made it right. Here’s hoping this batch rocks again!

Smoked a fair amount of this variety in the last couple of days and for my needs, it has just fallen flat.
I catch almost zero “buzz” from 4 or 5 bowl fulls but I have to say I have accomplished a lot of work in the last 48 hours, so maybe that’s the hidden positive in this variety.
It is colourful, fairly easy on the throat and no urge to cough your brains out …. however, when burning, it leaves a residue which clogs the pipe holes quickly and also loads up my lungs with crud due to the amount required to smoke in an attempt to get a typical Sativa buzz. The packing and delivery process went well.
The rating of AAAA has me really puzzled about the grading standard because it hasn’t proven to be a reliable indicator of what to purchase in the last while.
Ever since the excellent, hands-down superb AK-420 strain in the late spring, I’ve been struggling to find something as effective.

Had it been fresh bud, I could have made a better assessment. Dry and crumbly with almost no nose at all. Smoked a bit harsh. No Boveda pack included in the package to maintain freshness. However, the buzz was pleasant and well balanced. We enjoyed this flower and would have given a higher score had the bud not been so stale by the time we tried it. Will probably go again on this one when a new batch date arrives.
