Polynesian Thin Mints is an evenly balanced hybrid strain (50% indica/50% sativa) created through crossing the potent Girl Scout Cookies X Face Off OG BX1 strains. this didn’t seem like KRFTs usual quality. harsh smell on this one, bland flavor and a mediocre high. usually KRFT is rad, but this one disappointed considering the price

I’ve come to realize I’m not a huge fan of the mint terps for weed, and though this stuff has plenty of mint terps as the name would suggest, I can respect the quality of this flower. After a week of having it the smell has improved for me, but upon opening it was much like blacklodgebabe said, an old closet smell that went into the taste for sure. That said, I smoked a half gram joint of this stuff after some exercise and was floating for a couple hours. Great nugs as always, good moisture, density and burn.

I couldn’t really smell or taste chocolate but the cool mint comes through – nice and smooth, like a wee bit of menthol. Smooth burning, leaves you functional enough to putter after dinner but not strong enough to put you to bed.

If the ratings were out of 10 I’d give this a nine. One Bowl and I know that this is now on my buy list, which is not as long as you might think, I will always buy a strain from my buy list before trying something new. Bag appeal and nose are What Hurts the score on this one, maybe it’s because I didn’t get a boveda pack in there. The bugs were a bit Scrappy looking but oh mama when you like this thing up it gives you a lovely mint taste without a hint of making you cough and leaves you with a beautiful Buzz as soon as the bowl is done. Taste, smoke and high all get a 10 on 10, that’s all that really matters in my weed. It’s great when something smells amazing but not so great when it isn’t followed up with a taste to match. It’s great when the buds look large and intimidating, but not when they pack a punch like Nicolina Locche.
Post ounce thoughts; My little quip at the end of my review was apt, this stuff is smooth, tasty, and quick to buzz. This stuff IS NOT the reported THC level. The high is quick energetic, and generally pleasant, but it’s also short and mild, so buyer beware. I smoke about an eighth a day so it may work for you, depending on what you’re looking for.
