Blackberry Chem OG, also known more commonly as “Blackberry Chemdawg,” is an indica dominant strain that is created through a cross of the popular Blackberry X Chem Dawg strains. Although it tends to be evenly balanced, some breeders have offered forth varieties that are slightly indica dominant in nature. The Blackberry Chem OG high is very happy and relaxed with a lift of giddy euphoria upon first toke that lasts for hours on end. You’ll feel a sense of happy energy that gets you moving, followed by a powerful couch-lock that pulls you straight down into hazy bliss. The comedown is often very sleepy and can cause you to pass out. Because of these effects an its powerful 18-24% THC level, Blackberry Chem OG is said to be ideal for treating conditions such as chronic anxiety or stress, PTSD, arthritis, and chronic pain. The Blackberry Chem OG taste is very unique, with flavors of sweet berries accented by sharp chemicals. So right off the top this isnt a bud id normally go for considering the pics arent great. Nonetheless i did so anyways because some of the reviews convinced me. Here are my thoughts.
Bag appeal isnt too great. Its dark kinda leafy and airy and you can tell from looking into the bag. But the buds do carry a decebt amount of thc. Touching the bud will leave a thc residue on your fingers and it is a little bit sticky but an almost moist sticky. The cure is ok could probably use a week or two in the jar burped once a day.
Once you crack the bag open you gotta get ready for the nose. Vary unique, i havnt really ever smelt anything like it… I cant quite describe it but if i had to id say it smells like goats milk right off the bad. Getting into the squeezing it tightly and breaking it up and it still smells like goats milk…mayb even a touch of goats cheese…
Onto smoking. The taste profile isnt as bad as the smell… it got a indica/herby/slightly kushy taste which is totally tolerable and could potentially be enjoyable. Someone here said “white ash” well thats an absolute lie theres no white ash touching this bud with a 1900 ft pole. Nonetheless the high is ok you do get high. You do feel it right away its quick and light. Good bud for going to work but you definitely wont impress anyone.
Overall 4/5 because it was $59 and you cant beat that. Your local dealer wouldnt sell you his stems for $59/oz let alone bud that will get you high.
